There is Nothing to Fear Except Fear Itself

Join me as I welcome guest speaker Sue Slade who will teach us the difference between acute, chronic, and neuroplastic pain and how fear is the greatest manifestation of the brain.

She will describe how fear plays a role in pain manifestation. She will look at the pain cycle and provide simple tools to relieve your stress.

Sue was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 15 years ago. After trying many medical tactics, she was written off by traditional pain management and told to pace herself, as there was no hope of a cure.

This diagnosis didn’t sit well with her.  She knew with absolute certainty that there had to be a better way, and so her journey of healing began.

She started Life Balance initially part-time in 2015 to support mental health and build confidence in young people. She finished a BA in childhood and youth studies to support her children, who have additional needs. She worked with individual clients and schools as part of the ‘R U Ok’ program developing improvisational workshops.

Alongside her coaching, she studied an MA in the psychology of childhood and youth obtained a research degree.

Qualifying as a neurolinguistic master coach in 2020,  Life Balance went digital, specializing in stress and chronic pain. Coaching globally, courses, and 1:1 individualized packages.
